Waste in action: Enrol now for the 2010 training course! Waste in action: Enrol now for the 2010 training course!

The 2nd session of the Franco-British training course, "Waste management seen from a sustainable development perspective" will take place from 7th to 11th June in Brighton and from 27th September to 1st October in Rouen. You can enrol now!

Within the scope of the "Waste in action" project, the partners are offering a Franco-British training programme. SMÉDAR, the University of Brighton, CNFPT Upper Normandy Agency, and IESE work together in this programme.

When you enrol, you will benefit from a programme of specialist speakers and visits tailored to meet your specific needs. In this manner you can widen your knowledge and share your experience.

The modules, organized half in Rouen and half in Brighton, will also enable you to comprehend the special features of the two countries and envisage new avenues of reflection and collaboration.

The training course is primarily intended for collection, and processing managers, and those in charge of studies and projects, as well as administrative officers, and managerial staff in a processing and/or waste collection department in both countries.

The trainees spend the first week in Rouen, followed by a second week in Brighton. A simultaneous translation service is provided for the civil servants.

At the end of the two weeks, the participants are allocated a vocational project in pairs.

The project is then presented to a jury made up of professionals. At the end of the training course a certificate is officially presented to each trainee.
